JPride Baltimore invites you to join its LGBTQ Passover Seder, Thursday, April 2nd at 6:30 pm at Bolton Street Synagogue (212 West Cold Spring Lane, Baltimore). The seder celebrates and tells the story of the Jewish liberation from slavery in Egypt. JPride’s version add thanks for our modern journey of liberation from the oppressive bonds of intolerance and fear. Friends, families and allies are all welcomed.

“One of the unique aspects of this event is its diversity of participants,” said Mindy Sager Dickler, co-founder of JPride, formerly known as JQ Baltimore. “The attendees range in age from infants to older adults. There are people of color, Jews and non-Jews, clergy and lay people, together with people from all parts of the LGBTQ rainbow and their allies. We all come together in the spirit of brotherhood / peoplehood to celebrate the release from slavery.”

The service will be led by Rabbi Andy Gordon. All are encouraged to bring an item that signifies the meaning of freedom in their lives. A kosher-style dairy dinner will be served. Kosher meals will be made available upon requests. Tickets must be purchased in advance, by March 26th, as seating availability is limited. Tickets are $28.16 for adults and $12.24 for children under 13 and are available online at Bit.ly/2IzvD0c. For more info or to volunteer email baltimorelgbtqseder@gmail.com.
